Code of Ethics
Faith Stories is published by an organisation, not by a single public personality. These rules bind everyone who works on it — and they bind us in public, so readers can hold us to them.
Independence
We accept no payment for coverage. No advertiser, church, ministry, or political group tells us what to write. If we ever publish sponsored material, it will be clearly labelled as sponsored — it will never appear as news.
Honesty about who we are
Our articles are published under the FaithStories News Desk, our editorial team. We do not invent authors, author photographs, biographies, or credentials. A reader should never be misled about who wrote what they are reading.
Privacy and respect
- We treat the real people in our stories with care — especially in stories about grief, persecution, illness, or abuse.
- We do not publish private contact details, addresses, or information about children.
- We do not use graphic detail for shock value.
Conflicts of interest
If anyone on our team has a personal connection to a story, they step aside from it. We do not cover our own friends, donors, or partners as if they were strangers.
Accountability
Our Editorial Standards say how we check facts. Our Corrections Policy says what happens when we fail. Our AI Disclosure says how tools are used. If we break any of these rules, tell us through our Contact page.
